Juried Artist Directory

Welcome to the new Juried Artist Directory!

Our Directory is dedicated to creating a free, online listing of 2D and 3D visual artists who have been recognized by independent jurors and panels connected to the Arkansas Arts Council's programs. Directory artists have been recognized by programs, such as Small Works on Paper, Individual Artist Fellowships, Governor's Arts Awards or Arkansas Living Treasure programs.

Artists chosen for the Directory have the opportunity to showcase their artworks on a free platform to help promote and market themselves and their artistic careers. Works can be updated by contacting the artist services manager.

Artists who have not updated their pages within two years and have not been chosen by independent judges or panels will be removed from the Directory. This is an ongoing process. Thank you for your patience.

Arkansas based photographer Terése Conway, has the last few years honed her craft by focusing on landscape and nature scenes - a perfect combination with her love for travel. Originally a graphic designer, Terése has been working in design for two decades. Being creative and working with shapes, texture and composition has always been important to her, something that she brings forth in her photographs. Terése’s passion for photography started when, at 18 years old, her father gave her his 30 year old manual Minolta. While her current work is digital, it is reminiscent of analog images, with a gritty atmospheric quality, which speak to the raw beauty of nature and bring the viewer into the scene. Capturing the feeling of a place or a moment is the driving force for her, no matter the subject matter.
