Suzanne Michell and Uncle Fred Wilson have both been singer/songwriters since before there was the name “singer/songwriter.” Suzanne began performing as a child. After graduating from the Arkansas School for the Blind she studied music at UALR and was the first visually impaired student to earn a degree in music. Well-known for her rich contralto voice and guitar and piano skills, Suzanne understands the challenges performers face with disabilities, as she teach students of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Uncle Fred Wilson has been a songwriter and author by avocation for the last 50 years. He is a retired microbiologist and a published novelist. Together they perform original songs and traditional music that is familiar to the audience.
