The Juried Artist Directory is an online listing of visual artists who have been recognized through jurors and independent panels for programs and awards through the Arkansas Arts Council. The Directory recognizes and honors artists who are doing extraordinary work in Arkansas and have been highlighted through the Arts Council's services, programs, grants or awards.

The Directory helps enthusiasts and supporters discover the rich variety of visual artists in Arkansas.
The Directory highlights, showcases and recognizes visual artists in Small Works on Paper, Governor's Arts Awards, Arkansas Living Treasure, and Individual Artist Fellowship programs.

Artists chosen for the Directory have the opportunity to showcase their artworks on a free platform to help promote and market themselves and their artistic careers. Works can be updated by contacting the artist services manager.

After receiving a B.A. from Rollins College, Laura worked in marketing for six years while taking evening classes at the Arkansas Arts Center. After many years, she fulfilled a lifelong dream and enrolled in the Masters of Art program at the Univesity of Arkansas at Little Rock where she graduated in May 2014 with a 4.0 grade point. She was recently accepted into three artist residencies in Italy where she plans to study modern figure in historic settings in July 2014. Laura's paintings have been exhibited throughout Arkansas and are in private collections across the United States. Her work has earned numerous awards and she has a thriving commission portrait business.
