Being creative is integral to my identity. I grew up building miniature cardboard houses, sewing dolls, drawing and making jewelry. My work continued to transpose multiple dimensions while I was in school exploring graphic design tools, ceramics, metals and furniture; however, my passion is in graphic design.

I draw inspiration from the world around me – from people and nature – where the formal elements of color, line, shape and texture mingle. I believe in designing with simplicity and beauty in mind. By emphasizing aesthetics I aim to make work that creates a somatic experience for the viewer.

My goal is not only to design beautifully but also successfully communicate a message to the viewer and connect to a wide audience. Depending on the project or goal, I approach the process of making or designing from a spontaneous, intuitive state or one from careful deliberation and intent. I find it fascinating to watch things unfold and come together. And of course, the continuous learning and discovery processes that come with design keep it fresh and exciting.
