Welcome to the new Juried Artist Directory!

Our Directory is dedicated to creating a free, online listing of 2D and 3D visual artists who have been recognized by independent jurors and panels connected to the Arkansas Arts Council's programs. Directory artists have been recognized by programs, such as Small Works on Paper, Individual Artist Fellowships, Governor's Arts Awards or Arkansas Living Treasure programs.

Artists chosen for the Directory have the opportunity to showcase their artworks on a free platform to help promote and market themselves and their artistic careers. Works can be updated by contacting the artist services manager.

Very early, photography made an impact on my life. My dad worked for Eastman Kodak. One year the Christmas party included a multi-projector travel slide show. Growing up in the small town of Batesville, AR - it was amazing to see such well executed images from around the world. Seeing everyone so enthralled, I recognized the power of visual communication and wanted to harness that power.
