Charlotte Bailey Rierson, Fairfield Bay, Graduate of University of Central Arkansas with an emphasis in Art. Charlotte’s Art Spirit Journey has led her from choreographing & teaching the dance arts to expressing her deepest thoughts and emotions through painting. She paints with passion, using s loose evocative brushwork techniques. Her art beckons viewers to learn more about her art. She loves experimenting with texture, layers, and various mediums. Charlotte has won numerous awards. Her paintings are in the permanent collections of the Arkansas Arts Council’s Small Works on Paper, Clinton Presidential Library, University of Central Arkansas, and the Historical Arkansas Museum. She has had paintings Exhibited in the National Capitol/Washington D.C., Garvin Woodland Garden/Hot Springs, Arkansas Governor’s Mansion, Gem Theatre/Heber Springs, Butler Center for Arkansas Studies in the Arkansas Studies Institute/Little Rock, Arkansas Arts Center, Historical Arkansas Museum /Little Rock, and Arkansas Heritage Art & Museum Center/Leslie. She received the Arkansas Art Council’s Governors Award for Community Arts Development. Charlotte is a signature member of the Arkansas Artist League and a Mid Southern Watercolorists Diamond Signature Artist.
