The holidays are even merrier when celebrated as a community! Join the Delta Cultural Center on Saturday, December 5, for the annual Delta Regional Holiday Bake-Off and Open House. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the DCC Depot Museum in historic Helena will be filled with holiday cheer, festive decorations, holiday music by Steve Young and plenty of delicious goodies to enjoy.

Home bakers are invited to test their holiday baking skills in one of three categories: cookies, cakes, and pies. Whether your specialty is melt-in-your-mouth cookies, a spectacular cake or an irresistible pie, sign up for this year’s holiday bake-off.

Even if you’re not competing in the bake-off, you’re invited to join the fun! Enjoy the holiday-decorated depot, live musical entertainment, refreshments and a taste of the holiday season with friends and neighbors throughout the Arkansas Delta. Don’t be a Grinch! Contestants and visitors are encouraged to wear their holiday finery and seasonal outfits.

We hope you’ll join us to celebrate the season and savor some holiday sweetness at the Delta Cultural Center.

Bake Off Rules

• Amateur bakers only.
• All entries must be homemade.
• Registration is required and it is open until 4:30 p.m., December 4.
• No Entry Fee is required.
• Entry Items must be delivered to the DCC on Saturday, Dec 5 between 9 and 9:30 a.m.
• Location of contest: DCC Depot Museum at 95 Missouri Street in Helena.
• Contestants must remain with their entries until 1 p.m.
• Winners will be announced by 1 p.m. on December 5, 2026
  

A panel of three judges will select one winner from each category.
