Fun, experiential event on the third Saturday of each month
Regular admission fees apply, free for museum members
As America celebrates 250 years, we are taking lines from the Declaration of Independence as inspiration. In September, we will examine the phrase “Our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.” What did honor and virtue mean to someone in mid-1800s Arkansas? How did people make and use their fortunes, and how did they differentiate themselves from those with lesser means?
You can take on the role of an early resident of Arkansas as you find work, sell resources, buy goods, have fun, deal with both life and death, and learn new skills as part of this fun and experiential event!
