Divas on Fire is a 10-piece, all-women (except for one male divo) blues band, with five upfront lead vocalists. This high-powered ensemble has built up a regional following the last three years, with national name-recognition as a female band.

Since making their debut at Fayetteville’s Bikes, Blues & BBQ event, the Divas have been busy playing regional festivals and club gigs, focusing on writing original material and honing arrangements. Following the adage “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts,” Divas on Fire is a group made stronger by the experience of its individual members. Performing together allows their synergy to take over and magnify each artist’s strengths in an emotionally powerful connection to their audiences. Drawing upon individual experiences as songwriters and touring artists, the group fans the flames every performance to give audiences a moving experience they can see, hear, and feel deep down.

Since several members in Divas also have experience conducting blues workshops for young vocalists and players, they plan to feature workshop sessions this coming year to give them a chance to sing with professional musicians and sound reinforcement. Contact the group’s spokesperson to arrange that.
