Courtney Bennett Baker is an actor, director, theatre creator, and educator. Originally from Little Rock, she received her B.A. in Theatre from the University of Central Arkansas. She spent time in New York City studying acting and movement techniques, then moved to Chicago where she studied circus and clowning. While there she acted professionally, with one of her favorite roles being Dr. Stockmann in an adaptation of Ibsen's ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE with Jeff Award-winning director James Palmer. In 2010, she returned to the United States after receiving a Professional Training Certificate for Physical & Devised Theatre from the Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo, Italy. She is based in Arkansas where she teaches in local schools with Arts Integration Services, merging fine arts and theatre arts with science and social studies. She is also a professional voiceover artist and can be heard on many national accounts.
