Photography is God’s gift of respite from my frantic world and restless thoughts. I am inspired to photograph babbling streams amongst autumn leaves, inviting paths between pure snow and blue sky, enriching flora of patio and botanical gardens, and aging architecture of stalwart barns. Photography allows me to Capture moments for all time. It also feeds another medium—digital art. As I continued to hone photography skills, I explore the newer interest of creating digital abstract art. My curiosity was piqued while applying various software applications on photographs that resulted in bold, colorful abstracts. My abstracts are layers upon layers. Sometimes the art takes me and sometimes I know where to take it. In childhood, I began to photograph earth. Now, my passion extends to cultivating flor-art. Flor-art is digital art blooming from the natural rich color palette and textures of living “green things.” In creating flor-art, I forever cultivate my passion and nature.
