Welcome to the new Juried Artist Directory!

Our Directory is dedicated to creating a free, online listing of 2D and 3D visual artists who have been recognized by independent jurors and panels connected to the Arkansas Arts Council's programs. Directory artists have been recognized by programs, such as Small Works on Paper, Individual Artist Fellowships, Governor's Arts Awards or Arkansas Living Treasure programs.

Artists chosen for the Directory have the opportunity to showcase their artworks on a free platform to help promote and market themselves and their artistic careers. Works can be updated by contacting the artist services manager.

Artists who have not been chosen by independent judges or panels will be removed from the listing. This is an ongoing process, and accounts without updates in the past two years will be removed first. Thank you for your patience as we revamp the listings.

I was taught to be creative and to love and respect the out-of-doors. My artwork expresses my interpretation of nature-oriented subjects, such as countryside scenes, flowers, trout and old barns. Because of my desire to work with bright colors, I'm unwilling to be limited to painting representational art 1 to nature--I want to explore new colors, designs, and patterns with vivid values and color contrasts. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I see it everywhere I look. I strive for my artwork to capture that beauty.
