My art materializes at just that second; a creative record of the past, a message to the future. Gestural expressions, patterns of color, are the emotions of ripples in time; every moment on this planet is an adventure, an opportunity to seek new knowledge. As I work in various mediums, acrylic, graphite, pastel, encaustic, ink to oil, a painting can evolve from a single medium to mixed media. My work engulfs me, ideas swarming around me, sometimes adding scraps of paper from a holepunch or desert sand from out West, it’s that need to see what happens next.

Through the art I create, exploding color with monochromatic detours, you view the world around us, from creatures to the vastness of earth and sky, to the climate of our times. My new portfolio focuses on an emotional journey of living elsewhere, learning about new landscapes, cultures. But, I adore animals, so I keep a contradictory portfolio of critters from donkeys to ravens! Yes, my art materializes from my emotions at that second!
