Art is like a religion to me. It is the first thing I think of when I get up in the morning and the last thing I think about when I go to sleep at night. It is what makes my world go round. I feel so blessed to be an artist. My muses are the moon, cats, trees, all of nature and animals, and women. I am inspired by these things, but also by my dreams. I dream a lot every night and these dreams often give me ideas for paintings. In these dreams I sometimes have exhibitions of my paintings but these are not paintings that I have done in real life, but paintings I have yet to paint. When I rise I sketch the idea quickly so I will remember some of the paintings from my dreams. Art is the way I express how I feel about the world around me. It is how I show my love for the animals and nature in my life. I feel so honored to be able to express myself this way.
