Welcome to the new Juried Artist Directory!

Our Directory is dedicated to creating a free, online listing of 2D and 3D visual artists who have been recognized by independent jurors and panels connected to the Arkansas Arts Council's programs. Directory artists have been recognized by programs, such as Small Works on Paper, Individual Artist Fellowships, Governor's Arts Awards or Arkansas Living Treasure programs.

Artists chosen for the Directory have the opportunity to showcase their artworks on a free platform to help promote and market themselves and their artistic careers. Works can be updated by contacting the artist services manager.

Artists who have not been chosen by independent judges or panels will be removed from the listing. This is an ongoing process, and accounts without updates in the past two years will be removed first. Thank you for your patience as we revamp the listings.

I draw in graphite and colored pencil, specializing in still lifes and portraits. I work in a very realistic style, finding great enjoyment in incorporating a high level of draftmanship in my artwork. My drawings are all about seeing and discovering the dignity and beauty of the commonplace. The still life subject to which I return over and over again is fruit juxtaposed with embroidered and crocheted scarves. It is aesthetically pleasing to me to combine the simple images of fruit with the complexity of the lace. Each one complements the other.
