As the saying goes, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder," and that is especially a 1 statement that describes my love of landscapes. I feel that landscapes are more beautiful than any other materials or themes that I have worked with in my career as an artist. Since this is my 1 passion, this is the theme that I have a love for whether I am painting from a photo, memory or plein air. Other themed areas that I have worked with such as cars, buildings, and portraits do not present a problem for me, but I feel my 1 concentration is landscapes. I enjoy the photography aspect of my art too. The ability to explore my surroundings and take pictures of items, is another passion that I enjoy. The subject changes form with different lighting, weather conditions, and seasons and it is enjoyable to capture the image in different circumstances.
