Lori Lincks (b. 1985) is a native Texan who currently resides and creates in Northwest Arkansas. She received her BA in Studio Arts from University of
Arkansas in Fayetteville, with focuses in photography and printmaking. After her college career, she began to integrate faith into her art which led
to prayer and worship becoming an essential component of her studio practice.
Through art, she intentionally seeks to partner with God to cultivate His kingdom. The partnership caused a shift from self to serving and ministering
to others. It is asking God, “What do You want to create?” and then asking “How?” It is a relational process of trusting and relying on God's intentions
and dream for how to start, layer, and when to finish a piece.
She works with a variety of two-dimensional mediums and substrates: such as pastel, pencil, markers, crayons, pen, paint, wood panel, canvas, and paper. The choice of materials and substrates are dependent upon inspiration and guidance from Holy Spirit.
