I started playing around with art at a very early age using whatever I could find to make a masterpiece. I have a picture of me at age 3 on the front page of the newspaper, painting on an easel during pre-school. My Mom was so proud! I studied some art in college and worked mainly with children using various grieving models. I received my BA in psychology with an emphasis in children and using creative arts. I then lived in Colorado and worked with a youth team and worked as a makeup artist with Estee Lauder companies. I have taken various art courses including pottery. I then moved back to Fayetteville and received my Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and focus on using art as a tool to help people rehabilitate. I worked as an art programmer and taught art to indivuduals with traumatic brain injuries and other disablities and helped organize art shows to promote art and awareness in the ciommunity. What a Great Journey it Has Been!! I can't wait to work with you.
