Welcome to the new Juried Artist Directory!

Our Directory is dedicated to creating a free, online listing of 2D and 3D visual artists who have been recognized by independent jurors and panels connected to the Arkansas Arts Council's programs. Directory artists have been recognized by programs, such as Small Works on Paper, Individual Artist Fellowships, Governor's Arts Awards or Arkansas Living Treasure programs.

Artists chosen for the Directory have the opportunity to showcase their artworks on a free platform to help promote and market themselves and their artistic careers. Works can be updated by contacting the artist services manager.

My interest in the marriage of performance art and photography developed while I was re-examining the ways in which the manipulation of a subject affects the advancement of my work. Flirting with other mediums allowed me to realize that my 1 interest as an artist is the direction and reinterpretation of my human subjects through film. Artists such as Kelli Connell, Marina Abramovic, Robert ParkeHarrison, and Sally Mann have greatly influenced the way I use photography to interpret those subjects, the props, and my performances.
