Welcome to the new Juried Artist Directory!

Our Directory is dedicated to creating a free, online listing of 2D and 3D visual artists who have been recognized by independent jurors and panels connected to the Arkansas Arts Council's programs. Directory artists have been recognized by programs, such as Small Works on Paper, Individual Artist Fellowships, Governor's Arts Awards or Arkansas Living Treasure programs.

Artists chosen for the Directory have the opportunity to showcase their artworks on a free platform to help promote and market themselves and their artistic careers. Works can be updated by contacting the artist services manager.

Hugh Dunnahoe's professional experience in illustration and graphic design has provided him a solid platform of communication from which to interpret his subjects, and a mastery of a wide variety of art media and styles. Currently working mostly in oils, his original paintings are boldly diverse in style. Hugh's work is an exploration of relationships - our connection to the natural and urban landscapes we encounter, and to each other.
