It's that time of year again teachers! Welcome Back to the New School Year - 2026/2027.

The DCC invites all area teachers to attend our annual welcome back event held at the Delta Cultural Center Visitor Center located at 141 Cherry Street on Friday, August 21.

Unwind, eat a little and fellowship with other educators before the big start back begins. If your school year has already began, don't let that stop you. We want everyone to come down for a great Friday night.

There will be food and goodie bags for all educators. This event begins at 5 pm and should end around 7 pm.

Kelsey Riley, Teacher Center Coordinator for the Great Rivers Education Service Cooperative will be guest speaker.

This event is free and open to all area educators.
