LaDawna has experience teaching a wide variety of art courses, Art 1,2,3 and 4, Sculpture, Ceramics, Drawing, Painting, Crafts, 2D Design, 3D Design, Advanced Placement Drawing, Advanced Placement 3D Design, and Advanced Placement 2D Design at the high school level as well as working with adults and children with a wide range of intellectual and developmental disabilities. LaDawna is also knowledgeable in a wide range of materials and techniques, enjoying working with both traditional and nontraditional materials. LaDawna strives to create inclusive arts programming designed to empower individuals with and without disabilities through creative expression. LaDawna creates tailored art classes and workshops that accommodate various needs, ensuring every participant can explore and develop their artistic talents in a supportive environment. LaDawna’s classes and workshops foster a sense of community, boost artistic confidence and enhance both motor skills and cognitive abilities through the transformative power of art. 

LaDawna is a graduate of Arkansas Tech University earning her Bachelor of Art. Having worked for fourteen years as a certified Art teacher teaching in the Fort Smith public schools, LaDawna transitioned to Bost, Inc. as a Program Enrichment Manager in Staff Development and ArTs at Bost. LaDawna has first-hand classroom experience and is trained in teaching concepts, techniques and skills, a wide variety of media and inclusion. In her role as the Arts Coordinator for Bost, Inc. she is responsible for the ArTs at Bost program which provides free, high-quality arts instruction for individuals with disabilities in weekly art, acting and dance classes. LaDawna is passionate about arts education and serving individuals with disabilities and recognizes the profound impact that the Arts can have on quality of life for everyone!
