The Juried Artist Directory is an online listing of visual artists who have been recognized through jurors and independent panels for programs and awards through the Arkansas Arts Council. The Directory recognizes and honors artists who are doing extraordinary work in Arkansas and have been highlighted through the Arts Council's services, programs, grants or awards.

The Directory helps enthusiasts and supporters discover the rich variety of visual artists in Arkansas.
The Directory highlights, showcases and recognizes visual artists in Small Works on Paper, Governor's Arts Awards, Arkansas Living Treasure, and Individual Artist Fellowship programs.

Artists chosen for the Directory have the opportunity to showcase their artworks on a free platform to help promote and market themselves and their artistic careers. Works can be updated by contacting the artist services manager.

My artwork depicts inspirations and impressions of places that I have visited or lived. I have been inspired by the distinct characteristics of the culture, topography, architecture, plants, flowers and trees from coast to coast. Currently I am enjoying on focusing on depicting views of our state, Arkansas in my paintings. Too often we become complacent about the beauty in our surroundings. There are inspirations all around us. We all need to enjoy not just looking but seeing the world around us wherever we may be. For some, their inspirations may be expressed in poetry, in music, in literature, or in film. I enjoy using color, line and texture to create a painting.
