Art in the Park - Session Two

It's summertime again and the DCC Education Department is excited to announce that our Art in the Park is returning for two sessions at Freeman Playground located at 803 Beech Street in Helena, Arkansas.

Hosted by Education Coordinator Candace Dolls, these free community art gatherings offer a creative outlet for both adults and children.

This hands-on art session for July 12 is all about our kids! The beauty of nature will be explored through gel printing using leaves, flowers, and other natural textures. Materials and snacks are provided. Candace urges everyone to just bring their creativity. 

The other session for Art in the Park is Friday, June 28, 2025 which will concentrate on adults.

Free and open to the public. No registration is required. Supplies will be provided, or you can bring your own. Let's show up and make art!
