Marc Palmer won his first art contest at age 5. The judges, Al Kapp and Captain Kangaroo awarded him a box of crayons bigger than he was. Since then, he has tried to use every color to depict a world he can't see but swears exists. Despite having a Fine Arts degree, neither the fame earned at age 5, or the education helped pay rent. So he found work in local VA hospitals in the Hudson Valley. This career enabled him to retire to Arkansas in a dreamy hilltop location nestled in the Ozark mountains. Since then he has wrangled words into poems and pictures, inspired by that mysterious place in his heart.
Currently he is working on his third handmade book of fanciful stories that he wrote and illustrated.
