I have been drawing all of my life, and feel so blessed that the Divine Artist has given me a little of His talent. That is why in each painting that I paint, I write in the words somewhere that Jesus Is Lord. I experiment with mixed media, and my favorite is Watercolor, Acrylic and Gesso combined to make Abstract paintings, which I love to do!! Thereby never wasting paper!!! I have a slight musical background, and love to paint musicians as well. I want to only be known as an Artist and not simply as an African American Artist, so when I paint people, it is always my goal to paint the absence of color, by using many colors, if that makes sense to anyone viewing my work. I sign all of my paintings to also include my maiden name, because without my Mother and Father I would not exist , and my parents have been my greatest supporters, along with my husband and young adult children !!! I am a very thankful Artist that uses my gift to bring glory to God!
