What is the Juneteenth in Da Rock Summit?

The Juneteenth Summit is a one‑day community gathering designed to celebrate Black history, culture, and creativity while opening doors to opportunity. It takes place during Juneteenth in Da Rock, one of the region’s largest Juneteenth celebrations. The Summit brings people together to learn, connect, and experience the richness of Arkansas’s Black heritage in a welcoming, energizing environment.

The day begins with Lift Every Voice: The Opening Experience — a powerful performance inspired by the Arkansas Black Voices Exhibit. Through music, dance, fashion, and storytelling, this opening moment honors legacy and sets the tone for a day centered on collective power and cultural pride.

Throughout the Summit, guests can explore different spaces and activities, including:

The Opportunity Hall (All Day)
A no‑sales, give‑first environment where attendees can discover jobs, resources, training programs, and community support.

Curated Experience Lounges
Comfortable, elevated spaces designed for intentional conversations, networking, creativity, and reflection.

Live cultural activations
Music provided DJ Ally Lynn, movement, and artistic moments that bring the energy of Juneteenth to life. Tours of sites associated with the Little Rock Nine sponsored in part by Rock Region Metro.

The Summit is designed to be accessible, uplifting, and community‑focused — a place where history meets celebration and where every visitor can find connection, inspiration, and new possibilities.
