Trumpeter Gary Gazaway is originally from Northeast Arkansas, and in 1977 he began working and performing in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Nashville, and Hawaii. He has recorded or performed with a long list of diverse maor Latin and American artists including Airto & Flora Purim, Jaco Pastorius, Herb Alpert, Steve Winwood, Joe Cocker, The Memphis Horns, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Delbert McClinton, George Jones, Victor Wooten, Derek Trucks, and Phish; and has recording credits on more than 30 albums, 5 multi-platinum.
Native Hawaiian vocalist Lisa Ahia is from Maui and began singing at the age of 8 with her father Sam Ahia, one of Hawaii’s most important guitarists and musicians. In the 1990s, she began performing traditional Hawaiian Folk Music and is an accomplished performer on Ukulele. She has been featured as a musician, vocalist, and MC for many hotels, resorts, and Polynesian shows. Lisa also has a deep love for for Jazz standards from The Great American Songbook and has her own original style in that genre. With her beautiful velvet voice, she sings the melody and lyrics of the songs with her own unique interpretation and phrasing. Lisa has recorded and performed with artists including Victor Wooten, Hugo Fattoruso, Toninho Horta, Charles Thomas, and many others.
