Kevin Croxton is a music educator and an Emmy® Award Winning composer who brings to the table a wide variety of informative, fun and immersive workshops for students as well as teachers and administrators. Over his 26 year career as a music educator, Mr. Croxton has a background in providing workshops on Music History, Music and Autism, Music/Video Production, and Jazz Music as well as Music Technology in the classroom. He has done extensive research into the use of Music as a way of communication for Non Verbal Autistic students, and has presented workshops on the subject to Principals and Superintendents throughout the state of Arkansas.

He has worked with Music Teachers across the state on the use of new technologies in the music classroom, and has given workshops on music technology and music video production at the Arkansas All State Clinic in Hot Springs.  Mr. Croxton also composes music for film and television, having scored several feature films as well as a national television series, and uses his background in the filmmaking process to teach children about film and music production, creating music videos and fan films. His own music club, made up of 4th and 5th Grade Music Students, has created fan films that have played in film festivals across the world, and won top awards internationally. Most recently, his music club released their James Bond fan film, “In The Blink Of An Eye”, which has a cameo from former 007 actor George Lazenby (On Her Majesty’s Secret Service), and won top awards at film festivals all around the globe, from London to New York, Singapore, Hong Kong and Toronto.

Mr. Croxton is also a past National Quarter Finalist for the Grammy® Music Educator Award. Mr. Croxton’s goal is to provide AIE Programs that excite, inspire and enrich the lives of children in Arkansas. His latest workshop called “Introduction To Filmmaking: Creating a Short Film” takes students through the filmmaking process, allowing them to write, shoot and edit a 1 minute short film.
