Wanda Roe has taught high school and college classes, workshops and seminars as a professional art educator. Her training has been in AR, TX, and IL universities and with nationally acclaimed instructors. Born in AR, she has spent most of her life in the Ozarks. Her inspirations for art, poetry, and music have come from her travels across the entire US and visits to great museums in Europe. Roe's style is usually impressionist and her choice of subject and medium is varied with vivid color as her signature. Roe is a charter member of the Natl Women in Art, a member of the Natl Women's Hall of Fame, and has served as a white house volunteer, and on the Gifted and Talented State Board, and is currently on the AR Humanities Council. She belongs to several art groups and has served as an officer for many community groups. She is currently teaching in her private studio and is available for programs and classes.
