Welcome to the new Juried Artist Directory!

Our Directory is dedicated to creating a free, online listing of 2D and 3D visual artists who have been recognized by independent jurors and panels connected to the Arkansas Arts Council's programs. Directory artists have been recognized by programs, such as Small Works on Paper, Individual Artist Fellowships, Governor's Arts Awards or Arkansas Living Treasure programs.

Artists chosen for the Directory have the opportunity to showcase their artworks on a free platform to help promote and market themselves and their artistic careers. Works can be updated by contacting the artist services manager.

My illustrations have been leaning toward heavily-researched depictions of true-life people and events with the frank starkness of ink on paper. It’s an attempt to try and make Arkansas history more immediate and approachable to audiences, especially myself. Illustrating in black and white allows for imagination, imprinting, and interactivity with the subject matter.
