Welcome to the new Juried Artist Directory!

Our Directory is dedicated to creating a free, online listing of 2D and 3D visual artists who have been recognized by independent jurors and panels connected to the Arkansas Arts Council's programs. Directory artists have been recognized by programs, such as Small Works on Paper, Individual Artist Fellowships, Governor's Arts Awards or Arkansas Living Treasure programs.

Artists chosen for the Directory have the opportunity to showcase their artworks on a free platform to help promote and market themselves and their artistic careers. Works can be updated by contacting the artist services manager.

In my photography and mixed media work, I show how memory and place affect each other. I am interested in mundane places and imagine how people used those locations and which stories they hold. I want viewers to recognize something in my pictures that stirs their own memories, and I want to honor vernacular memory--things said and done by the people who used to work, shop, eat, and live in the abandoned buildings I find.
