In my Sculptural practice I choose concept before medium. Concept then responds and evolves with the material through making. It is a conversation between found objects bound by adhesive, clay slip on irregular surfaces, and cast metals fabricated to make multiples into a whole. My art is about honesty, my practice is listening, and I understand that truths can be used to lie. Sculpture is a means to cut through projected ideals and expose an honest foundation. I do not volunteer myself as a spokesperson, instead, I listen, question, and react to humans and non-humans that lack representation.
