Welcome to the new Juried Artist Directory!

Our Directory is dedicated to creating a free, online listing of 2D and 3D visual artists who have been recognized by independent jurors and panels connected to the Arkansas Arts Council's programs. Directory artists have been recognized by programs, such as Small Works on Paper, Individual Artist Fellowships, Governor's Arts Awards or Arkansas Living Treasure programs.

Artists chosen for the Directory have the opportunity to showcase their artworks on a free platform to help promote and market themselves and their artistic careers. Works can be updated by contacting the artist services manager.

I think I decided to become an artist when I first saw a Van Gogh painting in a book in the school library. His work communicated to me as if he was standing right beside me. I believe he is still speaking today. I believe that an artist's mission is to find the essential truth in each subject. I believe that God created all things, and we discover something about His nature in every created thing. I am always searching to know more about Him through every painting.
