Welcome to the new Juried Artist Directory!

Our Directory is dedicated to creating a free, online listing of 2D and 3D visual artists who have been recognized by independent jurors and panels connected to the Arkansas Arts Council's programs. Directory artists have been recognized by programs, such as Small Works on Paper, Individual Artist Fellowships, Governor's Arts Awards or Arkansas Living Treasure programs.

Artists chosen for the Directory have the opportunity to showcase their artworks on a free platform to help promote and market themselves and their artistic careers. Works can be updated by contacting the artist services manager.

My artwork is an extension of myself...a reflection of the spiritual energy within me. I have been asked, "what is your muse?" To me the muse is a personal thing; it is about my soul reaching out towards the divine spirit. I paint. I create. I destroy. I paint. I recreate. I do so not to copy anyone else, but to satisfy my own hunger, my desire to express myself in an emotional and creative way. My artwork is one experiment after another; it is another way of saying that I am neo-avant-garde.
