Carissa Watson is an Arkansas-native artist who primarily works in oil. She graduated from Harding University with her Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in art and minoring in business. Since graduating, Carissa has been working as a full-time artist doing commission work and working on her next body of work. Carissa's senior art exhibit at Harding featured eleven oil paintings inspired by the works of Norman Rockwell and themed by the daily life at Harding University. The show also featured nine small graphite portraits. The artist prefers to create portraiture and figural works, focusing on everyday life.
