Official T-Shirt Design Contest
Design the official T-shirt for Juneteenth in Da Rock and help us visually represent the spirit of freedom, resilience, culture, and community celebration.
The winning designer will be recognized from the main stage during the Juneteenth in Da Rock festival.
Eligibility
- Open to all ages.
- Each participant may submit one (1) original design.
- Any work that is deemed offensive or political in nature will not be accepted.
Design Guidelines
- Originality:
- All submitted designs must be entirely original and created solely by the entrant.
- No AI-Generated Designs:
- Designs created in whole or in part using artificial intelligence (AI) image-generation tools or platforms are strictly prohibited. Any submission determined to contain AI-generated elements will be disqualified.
- Copyright Compliance:
- Do not use copyrighted images, logos, trademarks, or content that you do not own or have written permission to use.
- Theme & Content:
- Designs should reflect the spirit of Juneteenth in Da Rock — freedom, Black history, culture, unity, and celebration. Artwork must be positive, inclusive, and appropriate for all audiences.
- Color Limit:
- Designs must be limited to a maximum of four (4) colors to ensure effective and economical printing.
- Placement & Size:
- The winning design will be printed on the front of the official Juneteenth in Da Rock T-shirt.
- Printable area is approximately 12 inches wide by 14 inches high. Designs should fit within these dimensions.
- Required Text:
- Design must include the official event name and year: “Juneteenth in Da Rock 2026”
Submission Requirements
- File Format:
- Submit high-resolution artwork (300 DPI minimum). Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, PDF, AI, EPS, or SVG.
- Submission Method:
- Designs must be submitted electronically through the official submission link or delivered as directed.
- Deadline:
- Submission Deadline is April 30, 2026. All entries must be received by the official deadline. Late submissions will not be considered.
Judging Criteria
Designs will be evaluated on:
- Originality and Creativity
- Relevance to Juneteenth in Da Rock
- Visual Impact
- Print Readiness
- Overall Quality
Winner & Recognition
- The winning design will be featured on the official Juneteenth in Da Rock T-shirts.
- The winner will be recognized from the main stage during the festival.
- The winner will receive public acknowledgment across Juneteenth in Da Rock platforms.
Rights & Usage
By submitting a design, entrants grant Juneteenth in Da Rock and its organizing partners a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and promote the design for festival-related purposes. The winning designer will receive full credit.
