Featured today will be "Black Cat Bone" by Patrick Lewis. This 2006 book featuring the poems of J. Patrick Lewis and the haunting illustrations of Gary Kelley tells the story of legendary bluesman Robert Johnson. Reading age: 9 - 12 years and grade level: 4 - 7.
Special guest at the depot will be Memphis artist Andre Miller, who has an exhibition featured at the DCC Visitor Center about Robert Johnson.
Plans also call for an art lesson with the DCC Education Department.
Refreshments will be served.
