I realized to become successful in the art world, I had to develop an ongoing plan. By ongoing, I mean my ideas change and I must change with them. This is what I think is so exciting about designing when working with yarns, jute, different types of string cloth, whatever I can find that gives me the effect I want.

My long range plan is to create more figures and to teach crochet. My teaching is whatever a student wants to learn. I have a website. There, I'm working on teaching videos. I'm excited about that.

I also do photography. I have a friend named Polly Ann, a turtle whom I take a lot of pictures of. I'm writing a children's book using Polly Ann as the main character. I will use her photos to illustrate a large part of this book. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.
