Before Us, Beyond Us Opens
On Wednesday, March 4, the Arkansas250 exhibit, “Before Us, Beyond Us,” opened to the public at the Old State House Museum in Little Rock.
The exhibit, featuring artifacts from all four Heritage museums, the Arkansas State Archives, and the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission, focuses on various eras of Arkansas history and highlights some of our state’s most iconic people, places, and events.
On Thursday, March 5, an opening reception was held. Speakers included Old State House director Daniel Cockrell, Heritage Division Director Marty Ryall, and ADPHT Director Shea Lewis. Arkansas250 Commissioners in attendance included Jan Zimmerman, Ebony Mitchell, Col. Joel Lynch, Dr. David Ware, Tanya Mims, and Dr. Ken Warden.
