Join the staff of the Delta Cultural Center as guest speaker Edmond W. Davis discusses the historical importance of Juneteenth. This will include a brief and engaging presentation on the essence of certain dishes created around Juneteenth.
Edmond W. Davis is an award-winning college history professor with over twenty years of experience. Davis is also well-versed in the social sciences, including history, culture, language, government, and sociology.
This special event will take place in the DCC Visitor Center located at 141 Cherry Street in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas and begin at 12 p.m.
