Tim Adams, a resident of Beaver Town, has been a painter for over 25 years. He is experienced in watercolors, acrylics, and oils.
A latecomer to the Ashcan school, he likes to capture urban landscapes, back alleys, and small town streets. Industrial scenes and grain elevators have been among his favorite subjects.
"I look for the beauty in everyday scenes. Not the pretty postcard scenes, but the places we pass by everyday, the back alleys where employees go to smoke, or the old gas station that has seen better days."
His favorite artists are Wayne Thiebaud, Rockwell Kent, and Richard Diebenkorn.
His work is represented by Curated Gallery and Gifts in Eureka Springs.
