Art in the Park - Session One

It's summertime again and the DCC Education Department is excited to announce that our Art in the Park is returning for two sessions at Freeman Playground located at 803 Beech Street in Helena, Arkansas.

Hosted by Education Coordinator Candace Dolls, these free community art gatherings offer a creative outlet for both adults and children.

This first session is focused on parents to experience this fun activity. Come out for a peaceful morning of painting in the park, while your children enjoy the playground. Materials and snacks will be provided. Candace urges everyone to just bring their creativity. 

The next session for Art in the Park is Saturday, July 12, 2025, which will concentrate on activities for kids.

Free and open to the public. No registration is required. Supplies will be provided, or you can bring your own. Let's show up and make art!
