This workshop will focus on applique designs inspired by Arkansas flowers. Attendees will learn about the history of Album Quilts, the meaning behind common historical designs and needle-turn applique techniques. By the end of the workshop, attendees will leave with an appliquéd pillowcase.

Olivia Fitzgibbon is the Database Manager at Historic Arkansas Museum, and outside of work enjoys sewing. Learning during the pandemic, Olivia started out with baby quilts and embroidery, then moved into garment making and needlework. She had a garment displayed in Historic Arkansas Museum’s Trinity Gallery and has taught several workshops.
