$25 per person, all supplies included. Bring a sack lunch.
 

During this workshop, you will learn a brief history of bobbin lace, the supplies needed for the craft, and how to do the basic stitches. You'll explore  different types of lace, bobbins, and threads. Then you'll learn how to set up pricking {pattern}, how to wind bobbins, and how to work the pricking. The class will conclude with participants making their own bookmark or lace flower to take home with them.

Presentor Barbara Schou loves making lace! She was introduced to it in 1988 when a high-school friend taught her some of the basics of lacemaking.She enjoys sharing and teaching these lost arts, to keep them alive.
