$25, includes supplies. This is a half-day workshop; no lunch will be provided. Minimum age for participation is 16.

Learn about this macabre 19th century fashion trend and create your own hair-brooch masterpiece, adding some Victorian-inspired flair to your wardrobe. All materials are provided (including synthetic hair) but you are welcome to bring your own!

Amy Armstrong is the Living History Coordinator at Historic Arkansas Museum. She loves Arkansas history and has a special fondness for researching the domestic lives of the women who lived here. Delving into the world of 19th century ladies crafts, and with lots of practice, she recreates the fancifully utilities and mementos that were a part of everyday life.
