Eubanks’ approach to teaching photography is step-by-step. He first starts with a historical look at what photography means. From there, Marcus breaks down the anatomy of the equipment to be used to give a working knowledge of what to expect, not allowing any part of the experience to be by chance. Next, he introduces the elements of photography, which are the bases the students will use to craft images, not just take pictures. Finally, after many class critiques, Eubanks challenges the students to take the information they have received and craft one shot that encompasses as many photography elements as possible to create one artistic image. Plus, I ask that you contact me for this opportunity to enrich your student's future with an eye for photography.

Marcus Eubanks is a graduate of Little Rock Central High who also attended the University of Central Arkansas and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where he studied Mass Communication and Radio Television and Film with an emphasis on Journalism. After attending college, Eubanks worked in local television news for 20 years during which he won an Emmy Award for his part in retelling the story of the Elaine Massacre. Eubanks took his love for storytelling to the next level by creating his streaming channel, Resurgent TV, Inc., which allows other creatives to display their work. Fifteen years ago, Eubanks started learning still photography, a related field to video production. After two decades of being behind the lens, Eubanks was asked to pass along some of his expertise to students in Helena/West Helena, Arkansas which started his interest and pursuit of creating workshops to teach the skills he has learned over his career.
