Through the human form, I express my feelings and desires. My models have personal stories and desire to tell them hence they allow me to mold their bodies and cast them in material that will stand the test of time. I like for my sculptures to be permanent. Because figures are timeless I use them as a permanent source of inspiration. The themes are often personal but I draw from historical references in order to make them relatable to an audience. My goal is to present age old ideas and concepts in a modern fashion and through the process of sculpting. I can manipulate the material to illuminate the recurring theme. The works depict my frame of mind and point of focus which continuously evolves over time and through life experiences.
