Mosaic Templars Juneteenth Vendor Agreement

Mosaic Templars Cultural Center (also “MTCC”) is providing an opportunity for exhibitors and vendors to reserve a free, dedicated space for use during the 2024 Juneteenth in Da Rock Celebration at MTCC. Any vendor or exhibitor wishing to participate in this opportunity must submit the vendor application for review and approval by MTCC by April 15, 2024. Spaces will only be assigned once completed applications have been submitted, including the appropriate nonrefundable application fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) and applicable licenses, permits and registrations are submitted; and approved by MTCC’s designee. MTCC reserves the right to make changes to assigned spaces at any time and for its sole convenience.

BOOTH SPACE

MTCC will determine the location of all booth spaces. Vendors and exhibitors must set up within their assigned area no later than two hours prior to event start time. Vendors are required to remain open during event hours. Clean-up must be completed by 7:30 p.m. the day of the event. It is the responsibility of vendors and exhibitors to clean up their assigned space at the end of the event. Chairs and tables should be neatly stacked for collection and trash deposited into the dumpster. Failure to comply will warrant a $50 cleaning charge.

EXPECTATIONS AND VENDOR CONDUCT

MTCC, as a state agency, is available to the public for its use and benefit. MTCC events such as this Juneteenth celebration are family-friendly events intended to be experienced and enjoyed by all.

Explicit Language and Political Activity: Vendors and exhibitors, as well as all attendees, are required to refrain from using, displaying, promoting, or offering for sale obscene/explicit materials, words, music, recordings, and offerings. Also, no political activity is permitted on the MTCC premises. Questions about what may be considered obscene or explicit or a political activity should be directed to MTCC for their review no later than thirty (30) days prior to the event. MTCC reserves the right to refuse admission to, or expel anyone from, the event without refund for violation of this policy.

Illegal Items: The sale or possession of illegal items in any space or anywhere on the MTCC premises is strictly forbidden and violators shall be removed from the event.

Vendor Behavior during Event: By signing this agreement, vendors and exhibitors agree to show respect for their booth neighbors and for all attendees. Discourteous actions include, but are not limited to blocking aisles, preventing passage by customers, microphones and speakers at excessive volumes, or any other activity that may interfere with the business of adjoining booths. MTCC reserves the right to expel participants from the event without refund violation of this policy.

Reporting Behavior/MTCC Monitoring: Vendors and exhibitors who experience issues should report incidents to MTCC staff. Offenders will be given a warning by event officials. After warnings, the offender will be asked to relocate or vacate their booth purchase without refund of application fee.

Permits/Licensing: It is the responsibility of the vendor/exhibitors to have any and all licenses or permits up to date and displayed. If any vendor is forced to close because they lack the necessary licenses or permits, MTCC will not be liable, and no refund will be issued for booth purchase including application fee.

LIABILTY

Mosaic Templars Cultural Center shall not be liable for loss or damage to goods or property of vendors or exhibitors. MTCC shall not be liable for personal injury to exhibitors, vendors, employees or customers of same. Exhibitors and vendors warrant that by signing this agreement, they agree to the rules, regulations and laws of the event, the City of Little Rock and the State of Arkansas.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS

Electricity for this event IS NOT provided by MTCC. Vendors who require electricity or plan to operate off generator power must provide their own generator.

COPYRIGHT AND FAIR USE ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Exhibitors and vendors bear sole responsibility for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, or other requirements related to their use, display, or distribution of any material that be subject to copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property right or protection. By clicking submit, the exhibitor or vendor acknowledges that it will accept its responsibilities and agrees to release MTCC from any liability for any claim copyright or intellectual property claim related to MTCC or the MTCC Juneteenth in Da Rock Celebration.

By clicking submit below, exhibitors or vendors acknowledge that their participation in this event is at their “own risk and entry upon, and use of, MTCC’s premises shall be “as is”, “where is” and with “all faults.”

Nothing herein shall be construed as creating a partnership or joint venture between MTCC and any exhibitor or vendor. No exhibitor or vendor shall be regarded as an agent or representative of MTCC.

Nothing herein, express, or implied shall be construed as a waiver of sovereign immunity by MTCC. Also, they understand the terms of this agreement and release MTCC, sponsors and volunteers, and agrees to hold them harmless from all claims including cancellation due to inclement weather or acts of God, and shall fully indemnify, hold harmless and defend MTCC, it directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against all claims, demands, actions, suits, damages, liabilities, losses, settlements, judgments, costs and expenses (including but not limited to reasonable attorney's fees and costs), whether or not involving a third party claim, which arise originate from or relate to any act or omission of MTCC.

FOOD TRUCK VENDOR

  • Arkansas Department of Health Permit, Insurance, Little Rock A&P license and city license required. One (1) 6' table and two (2) chairs are provided in a 10'x20' space. 
NON-FOOD VENDOR
  • $25 Application Fee
  • One (1) 6' table and two (2) chairs are provided in a 10'x10' space.
NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION
  • $25 Application Fee
  • One (1) 6' table and two (2) chairs are provided in a 10'x10' space.
