Discover yourself, change your world. This workshop will focus on teaching young and emerging artists how to go about finding and using their voice and identities to implement them through the arts and effect changes in themselves and their communities.
The workshop will talk about using the arts in social justice issues and about finding the inner strength and inspiration to start your artistic journey. This workshop is geared toward student artists who are 16 to 21 years old.
Facilitator Jamee “REM” McAdoo is a performer, poet, writer, educator, inspirational speaker and advocate.
